It really depends on the people in your floor and you won’t have much control over everything. However even if you think it’s bad and you want to swap be careful as it can get worse and it might be better to deal with the rough parts. It is nice having your own room but it is a lot more inconvenient when you have to leave your room to go to the bathroom, especially when you have an auto locking door.
Pros
You are only living directly with one or two people. Your bathroom get cleaned pretty often and everything is almost completely taken care of for you. You don’t have to get soap or have a little stand in the shower There is a small gym in the building(pretty rare)
Cons
Should try to keep the little space you have clean The people in your hall are going to make or break your experience as the bathroom is probably the one place you want to yourself but it is being shared with the most people. Also laundry can be a pain if people in your building don’t know how to do laundry or don’t respect boundaries (putting laundry on the floor) Rooms can be pretty hot even with a fan and it is really hard to manage the room temperature sometimes
